Reports & records
How to get your laboratory and imaging reports, and how to request older hospital records.
Check when it is ready
Most pathology reports are ready the same day, usually within four hours of the sample. X-ray and ultrasound reports are issued the same day. Vitamin D, B12 and a few specialised tests take until the next day.
Collect from the counter
Bring the receipt you were given when the sample was taken. Reports are handed only to the patient or a family member carrying that receipt.
Or get it on WhatsApp
Ask at the laboratory counter when giving your sample and we will send the report to your registered mobile number instead. Please confirm the number is correct at that time.
Older records
Records from previous admissions or consultations can be requested at reception. Allow two working days, and bring an identity proof — we release records only to the patient or an authorised family member.
Report not ready, or lost?
Call the laboratory through the hospital line and keep your receipt number ready.
A report is not a diagnosis. Please do not start, stop or change any medicine based on a value you have read yourself — bring the report to your doctor, along with any previous ones.
